Service
Archive Buddy provides a specialist AI assistant workspace for archival work. It is a professional software layer powered by configurable foundation model providers and is not a custom-trained AI model.
Professional Responsibility
Archive Buddy can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them, sharing them, or incorporating them into archival descriptions, policies, researcher responses or institutional workflows.
User Content
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit material you are not permitted to process, and take particular care with sensitive personal information, access-restricted records, confidential institutional information, copyright material and culturally sensitive descriptions.
Connected Services
Optional connectors require user consent and are linked to the individual Archive Buddy account that authorizes them. Archive Buddy performs write actions, such as creating calendar events, only after explicit user confirmation.
Accounts and Billing
You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. Paid subscriptions, cancellations and payment processing are handled through Stripe or agreed institutional arrangements.
Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but Archive Buddy may be updated, interrupted or unavailable from time to time for maintenance, provider outages, security issues or operational reasons.
